The Houston Texans announced Tuesday the dates for Houston Texans Training Camp beginning on Wednesday, July 26, at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center.

Beginning with that July 26 practice and running through Aug. 17, the Texans will hold 15 training camp sessions that will be open to the public. Those sessions will include joint practices with the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots on Aug. 15 and 16. All practices will begin at 10:30 a.m.

“We’re thrilled that the Texans will be here for three weeks this summer, and we look forward to welcoming them to America’s Resort,” said Dr. Jill Justice, president, The Greenbrier. “We’re proud of The Greenbrier Sports Performance center, and we know that training camp will be an amazing experience for both the Texans and the fans that come out to enjoy the experience.”

The Texans will arrive on July 25 and take part in team meetings before their first practice the next day. They will practice each day, July 26-30, before taking their first day off on July 31.

Five straight practice days will follow from Aug. 1 through Aug. 5, before another off day on Aug. 6.

A practice on Monday, Aug. 7, will be open to media only, and on Aug. 8, the Texans will depart to travel to Charlotte, NC, for a Wednesday, Aug. 9, preseason battle with the Carolina Panthers.

The Texans will be back on the practice fields at The Greenbrier Aug. 11 and 12, with an off day scheduled for Aug. 13. Practices from Aug. 14-16 will be open to the public, including the two practices with the Patriots.

On Friday, Aug. 18, the Texans will head back to Houston in preparation for a preseason game against the Patriots on Aug. 19. The final two practices of training camp will be held at the Houston Methodist Training Center on Aug. 21 and Aug. 22.

Practices at The Greenbrier will be free to the public. Parking will be at The Greenbrier Train Station, across the street from the main entrance of the resort. Buses will be available to transport fans from the parking lot to the Sports Performance Center. The cost of the transportation is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Transportation tickets can be purchased in advance at Greenbrier.com/Texans. No walk-ups will be allowed.
