HospiceCare has announced that the annual Chocolate Chase 10K Race will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 9:00 a.m. as part of the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the festival.
The scenic 6.2 mile race begins at the Greenbrier Valley Airport, crosses 219 North and follows the rolling hills of Fairview Road and Arbuckle Lane into downtown Lewisburg, finishing in front of the Greenbrier County Courthouse. Pre-Registration is available now. Registration fee prior to March 31 is $20, and Race Day Registration ($25) will take place at The Greenbrier Valley Airport beginning at 7:30 a.m.
There will also be a Fun Walk at 9 a.m. beginning at the downtown branch of First National Bank. The fee is $10 for pre-registration and same-day registration. Registration will be held in the lobby of the bank from 8:15-8:4 5a.m. There is a separate application for the Walk.
