Larry Vernon Hoke was taken into custody by law enforcement officials in Roanoke, VA, on Monday evening, Oct. 19, upon his release from the hospital.
The arrest was as a result of a murder warrant obtained by Corporal T. C. Webber of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s office for the shooting death of Glenda Hull that occurred at her residence located on State Route 92 near Neola, on Oct. 7.
Hoke was arraigned as a fugitive from justice in Roanoke City General District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and waived extradition to the state of West Virginia. He was returned to Greenbrier County on Thursday, Oct. 22, and had his initial appearance before a Greenbrier County magistrate on the murder charge.
