Sunflower contest winners
Kindergartner grand prize winner for largest sunflower entered in the Lewisburg elementary school sunflower contest was Kiana Mcclung in Mrs. Tipton’s class with a 54” entry. She is congratulated by Townley Hamilton, conservation chairman for the Lewisburg House and Garden Club that sponsors the annual contest, and presented her with a book on resident birds of West Virginia and a $25 check for her achievement.
