Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the state professional theatre of West Virginia, is proud to announce the original production “Bricktop: Legend of the Jazz Age,” written by GVT Artistic Director Cathey Sawyer, was chosen to be performed at National Black Theatre Festival (NBTF) in Winston Salem, NC! The festival will run from July 29 through Aug. 3.
Held biennially, NBTF attracts more than 65,000 people during the six-day event. More than 50 celebrities of stage, screen and television are expected to attend. It is a high honor to have our play be chosen, but we need your help to send the Appalachian story to the south!
