On Thursday, May 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fairlea Senior Center, 110 Taylor Lane, an informational meeting regarding the Affordable Care Act will be presented by Doris Selko, MA, deputy executive director of health policy for the West Virginians for Affordable Health Care. This is a rescheduled meeting from the original meeting that was set for Apr. 25.
Healthcare is an issue not only in West Virginia but countrywide. The meeting will include a presentation and discussion about the Affordable Care Act (ACA); its affect on both West Virginia and its people; what are the benefits and challenges of ACA and how it might be improved. Also for discussion is the issue of repeal/replacement of the ACA. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
