Pulaski, VA – Beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, Hazel Virginia Jones, 80, formerly of Lewisburg, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017.
She was born Mar. 23, 1937, in Glace, WV. She was the daughter of the late Cary Jones and Sallie Bostic Jones.
She was a former employee of the Greenbrier Valley Airport Restaurant in Lewisburg, and also an employee of Pioneer Com Plant in Connersville, Indiana. She loved reading her Bible, listening to country and gospel music, and watching old tv shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Emory Jones; mother, Sallie Bostic Jones; father, Cary Jones; sister, Betty Hoke; twin siblings, Bessie and Albert; an infant sister; sister-in-law, Dora Arm Sealey; brothers-in-law, Wayne Feury and Jack Weikle; and niece, Melissa Issacs.
She is survived by daughter, Tammy Mann and husband James of Pulaski, VA; grandsons, Sandon and Ben Mullins of Pulaski, VA and Pedie Mullins and fiance Marie of Sam Black; sisters, Goldie Feury of Lewisburg, Wilda Lewis and husband Otis of Williamsburg, and Leona Weikle of Caldwell; brother, James Jones and wife Sylvia of Orange, IN; brother-in-law, Clinton Hoke of Connersville, IN; former son-in-law, Shannon Mullins of Greenville, WV; several nieces, nephews, friends, and her special dog, Marilyn.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Rev. Otis Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Organ Cave.
The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 22, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are: Pedie Mullins, Sandon Mullins, Ben Mullins, Luke Morgan, Adam Scott, Ryan Feury, Daren Lewis, Stewart Lewis and Shannon Mullins.
