On Saturday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. we will be hosting for the first time the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company Forging and Horse Shoeing Expo! This family friendly event will showcase farriers form multiple states in the competition. We are so excited to share the tradition of forging with the younger generation!
Gates open at 10 a.m., cost of admission is $5 (under 18 free), the forging contest begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. There are three categories: novice, intermediate, and open. Prizes for first, second, and third place will be awarded in each category. The winner will be announced at the live auction at 4 p.m. The Goodson Boys will play live music from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be food from The Hangar and Aunt Beckies Kitchen.
GVBC will be bringing back the Gauley Rancher Sour in celebration of Gauley Season. This Cherry/Grape forward sour is crushable and light.
