Frankford-Guy Walter “Tom” Livesay, Sr., 86, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at the Peyton Hospice House.

Born July 15, 1933, at Frankford, he was the son of the late James Guy and Grace Burgess Livesay.

Tom was a graduate of Frankford High School and was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved football.  He was a U.S. Army, Korean War Veteran.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Martha Virginia Harrison Livesay in 2015; brother, Keith Livesay; sister, Mildred King and brother-in- law, Oscar King.

Survivors include three children, Guy Walter Livesay, Jr. (Robin) of Williamston, NC, Judy Poage (Andrew) and Libby Hanna (Dennis) all of Frankford; grandchildren, Derrick Poage (Kayla), Chad Poage (Jenny), James Livesay (Candie), Courtney Gotch (Ben), Sarah Kidd (Joel), Julie Hanna, Luke Agee (Erica) and Isaiah Hanna (Ashley); 18 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Mr. and Mrs. Livesay was held on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, where Pastor Emory Hanna and Luke Agee officiated.  Burial with Military Rites followed in the Frankford Cemetery.

Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home before the service.
