The West Virginia Division of Highways announces the closing of Gum Street Bridge on CR 50/3 in White Sulphur Springs, beginning Apr. 18 according to Adrian Lusk, District Nine Bridge Engineer.
WVDOH will close Gum Street Bridge located on CR 50/3, Gum Street, at milepost 0.04, 0.04 miles west of CR 50, Tuckahoe Road, from Apr. 18 through July 29. The bridge is anticipated to be closed 24 hours per day, the closing is necessary to replace the existing bridge.
Motorists should allow additional time for their commute and are advised to use alternate routes. Traffic can use Dry Creek Road, US 60 and CR 50, Tuckahoe Road.
The anticipated completion date is set for July 29; be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
