Davis Stuart announces the appointment of Tonya Greene, licensed psychologist, to the role of clinical director.
Hailing from Inez, KY, Greene has a multitude of experience working with adolescents. In 2003, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Morehead State University. Two years later, in 2005, Greene obtained her master’s degree in clinical psychology, again from Morehead State University. During her academic career, she was an active member of the Chi Omega Sorority, currently Chi Omega Alumni.
Greene has served children, adolescent, and adult populations in a private practice setting and has also provided therapy and psychological services to other residential treatment facilities in the state.
Greene currently lives in Fayetteville with her two daughters, Ava, 8; and Ella, 4. The family and child centered atmosphere at Davis Stuart is what Greene feels sets the agency apart from others. Greene believes in the mission and vision of Davis Stuart, making the commute from Fayetteville to Lewisburg every day. She is committed to providing the best in quality care to the teens that rely on Davis Stuart’s services. Since her appointment to clinical director, Greene has worked vigilantly to build the clinical team and improve communication among those she supervises. Greene adds her motto, “Good communication is key to best practices in helping residents and families we serve.”
