Ripe, local tomatoes are available at the farmers market! The Greenbrier Valley Farmers Market is open in downtown Lewisburg from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, rain or shine, with a full selection of products.
The Wednesday market is now open from 3 to 6 p.m., with earlier sales potentially available. Stop by for bakery items and in-season vegetables as available – offerings will increase as the growing season continues.
Get the first of the season’s tomatoes and green beans. Find local honey, cucumbers, yellow squash and zucchini, a bounty of lettuces, cooking greens, spring onions, herbs, breads, bagels, pies, cakes, and assorted baked goods, maple syrup, grass fed beef, lamb, pork, cheerful flower bouquets, hand crafted cutting boards and baskets, wood and other crafts, and more. Last weekend we had live demonstrations of blacksmithing, broom making, and shaving horse crafting; let’s see what next week brings!
You are invited to the “farmers market on the green” in downtown Lewisburg at the corner of Route 219 and Arbuckle Lane, every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesdays from 1 to 6 p.m.
