The Greenbrier Humane Society has announced that they are now once again open for intakes after being at capacity earlier in the month. They advise the public to call before bringing in any new animals to ensure that there is space and resources to take them at that time. “Your proactive help helps us keep providing the best care possible. By scheduling an intake appointment, it allows our team to fully prepare a comfortable space for them as well as communicate efficiently to our team,” said GHS in a social media post.
They also announced this week that a new volunteer management system is launching at the facility, which will allow volunteers to schedule shifts, track hours, and more. To explore the system and book a shift, visit https://ghs.volunteermatrix.com. Volunteer activities include dog walking, cleaning, laundry, food pantry efforts, and more.
“We believe this new system will enhance your volunteer experience and help us continue to provide exceptional care for our animals.”
