According to the Beckley VA Medical Center Director Karin L. McGraw, the Greenbrier County Veterans Outpatient Clinic is slated to open for Veterans on Friday, Feb. 27 at 8 a.m.
The announcement, which came on Monday, states the design corrections required to improve air quality at the clinic have been completed with retesting conducted by the Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation.
Veterans will be contacted to confirm their appointments at the clinic located in Maxwellton. Additionally, veterans can contact the clinic at 304-497-3900 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
“The nearly 2,000 veterans from Greenbrier, Monroe, Pocahontas and Summers counties can now regain access to the medical care and services they need without inconveniently traveling long distances to other VA locations. Reopening the CBOC after it has been safely retested is great news for the community, ensuring that accessible treatment and care is readily available to our veterans,” stated U.S. Senator Joe Manchin in a statement to the press.
