Greenbrier County Grand Jury returns indictments

The Greenbrier County Grand Jury met earlier this month and has returned indictments against 50 individuals. Arraignments will be held on June 21 in front of Judge Jennifer Dent at 9 a.m. and at 1 p.m. in front of Judge Robert Richardson.
Among the indicted is Ronald McMillion for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. McMillion was indicted for murder in Feb. 2023 for the death of missing person Dee Ann Keene. Also indicted are Mitch McCoy and Cynthia Justice for accessory after the fact to murder and concealment of a deceased human body. The document states, “Mitch McCoy and Cynthia Justice feloniously, knowingly, and willfully concealed, attempted to conceal, or otherwise aided and abetted Ronald Ray McMillion to conceal the body of a deceased human body, To-Wit: Dee Ann Keene, by placing said body into a vehicle, by transporting said body to a place unknown, and by burying or otherwise disposing of said body in a secrete manner” on or about Feb. 28, 2014.
Also indicted is Jimmy Lynn Rush, who is charged with reckless fleeing from an officer, fleeing from an officer causing death, and driving while in an impaired state causing death. The indictment states that Rush was operating an motorcycle in Rupert when he refused orders to stop for a law-enforcement officer and attempted to flee, and in doing so reached speeds “in excess of 100 miles per hour.” The document states that “he was under the combined influence of controlled substances” including “amphetamine and opiate(s), including Heroin.” While driving, he “did wreck said motorcycle, proximately causing the death of Cassandra Gayle Spencer.”
