The Greenbrier County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will host four town hall meetings – White Sulphur Springs, Rainelle, Alderson and Lewisburg CVB officials announced this week.
“This is an excellent opportunity for our partners to learn about what drives tourism in our area, as well as what marketing resources we, as the CVB, offer to grow their businesses,” said Kara D. Dense, executive director. “Tourism is vital to our economy in Greenbrier County and impacts nearly every family and business here. As a thriving destination, we must continue to work together to keep visitors returning and generate positive economic impact for the area.”
The four scheduled tourism town hall events are designed especially for tourism partners and will focus on the topic, “How Tourism Works for You.” During each session, CVB officials will discuss the impact of tourism on area businesses, while also presenting opportunities for partners including advertising partnerships, tips for working with travel writers, the CVB rack card program, the CVB website events calendar and the importance of customer service. Refreshments will be served and all tourism business attendees will be entered to win a full year of digital ad space in the regional Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center.
