The Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will offer two meetings for local tourism businesses to learn about upcoming marketing opportunities. The first is Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. and the second is Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8:30 a.m. The hour-long sessions will be held in the Rahall Conference Room at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center in downtown Lewisburg. All tourism related businesses are encouraged to attend.
Topics will include a selection of print co-operative marketing opportunities, as well as the mini-grant program, which provides reimbursement for marketing expenses of tourism related events and initiatives. Print marketing includes advertising within the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Guide, inclusion in the annual WV State Tourism newsletter, and regional magazine marketing co-ops in such publications as Blue Ridge Outdoors, Bella and WV Living. The co-ops provide up to a 47 percent savings in advertising costs. New this year is the chance to be front and center to visitors by having an ad featured on the large TV screen in the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center. Finally, learn about exceptional pricing for rack cards.
The staff of the Greenbrier County CVB looks forward to working with its tourism industry partners in the coming year. Refreshments will be provided and an RSVP is requested. Please contact Beth Gill, Marketing Manager at bgill@greenbrierwv.com or 304-645-1000 for more information.
