Alumnus of the Greenbrier College for Women gathered with friends and area representatives for a dedication ceremony on Friday, Oct. 14, at the site of the college’s memorial grove on the campus of what is now the New River Community and Technical College. Located between the North House Museum and the Greenbrier County Public Library, the grove contains a variety of trees and landscaping, including a landing that acts as an outdoor seating area.
