The Greenbrier Artists recently honored Annabell Rothe by giving her a lifetime membership in the group.
Rothe was born in Scotland, raised in New Jersey, but fell in love with the Mountain State while visiting her son. She currently lives in Greenville in a home designed by her and built by her son.
She has studied art with several artists and enjoys working with colored pencils, pastels and oils. Her art echoes her view of life: “Life wants you to embrace it and live it fully!”
Rothe’s art is currently displayed in The Greenbrier Artists’ Annual show in the Old Stone Room at Carnegie Hall, which will be open until June 27.
