Members of the Greenbrier Artists enjoyed an interesting class by Jeanne Brenneman recently. She demonstrated how to paint a simple landscape by using a minimum number of paint strokes on the paper. The class experimented by doing their own paintings using 100 brushstrokes or fewer. They were pleasantly surprised by the results. Greenbrier Artists, a nonprofit art group, meets each week at Carnegie Hall to paint together, learn new techniques, and promote art in the community.
