Grand Jury hands up attempted murder indictment; sex crimes, drug charges and burglaries dominate rest of the list
A grand jury handed up 49 indictments to the Greenbrier County Circuit Court this week. There are several breaking and entering, sexual abuse and drug charges among the indictments, along with one attempted murder charge.
Robert Clyde Wilson II, 26, of Alderson is charged with malicious wounding in addition to the attempted murder charge. The charges stem from an April 2015 altercation that turned violent at the Circle J Bar and Grill in Fairlea. Wilson is accused of shooting another bar patron in the back after the two began fighting in the bar. The alleged shooting occurred in the parking lot after the two men were kicked out of the bar.
