Grand Home Furnishings has launched its Martinsville Speedway Ticket Sweepstakes to give away 15 pairs of tickets to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series STP 500 race at the Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, VA, on Apr. 3.
To enter the sweepstakes, entrants can visit www.grandhomefurnishings.com or any Grand Home Furnishings store location by Mar. 21. Entrants must be 18 years old to enter, and no is purchase necessary.
The ticket winners will be contacted by phone on Mar. 23 and will receive two tickets, valued at $100 for both, by mail. On Apr. 3, at the Martinsville Speedway, fan gates open at 9 a.m. and the STP 500 race starts at 1 p.m.
Grand Home Furnishings is proud to provide the grandfather clocks used as trophies at Martinsville Speedway. The grandfather clock tradition goes back many years to when grandfather clocks were manufactured in nearby Ridgeway, VA. Years ago the Ridgeway Clock Company closed. To help keep the clock trophy tradition going, Grand Home Furnishings stepped in to provide clocks.
Howard Miller, a clock manufacturer in Michigan, now manufactures the clock and has even named it The Martinsville Clock.
