White Sulphur Springs-Gordon Marshall Bostic, 79, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, in Virginia Beach, VA.
He was born Apr. 29, 1941, in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Carl Marshall and Margaret Huffman Bostic.
Mr. Bostic was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for Cardell Grains.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bostic Bostic and brother, Donald Bostic.
Surviving are his daughters, Charlene Brandon, Margaret Boney, Charlotte Caron and Susan Sumrell; son, Michael Bostic; his girlfriend, Sandy Griffith; sisters, Mildred Black, Sharon Hilton, Mary Jane Elkins, Laura Anne Elkins, Janet Mae Collins, Bonita Foster and Juanita Sharp; brother, Paul Bostic; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Bostic will be on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 12 noon at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery at Second Creek.
The family will receive their family and friends on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jon Bower, Preston Caron, Garrick Caron, Ian Overman, Christopher Miller, Adam Overman and Sean Worden.
We will be following Covid 19 regulations. Wearing masks and keeping a safe distance.
