This week, Gordmans held their official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at the Greenbrier Valley Mall in the old Peebles storefront. Gordmans, which is a sister store to Peebles, offers home décor, clothing, bedding, shoes, kitchen items, small furniture, pet items, and more.
Mayor Beverly White, members of the Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation, and GEHS Principal Ben Routson were all in attendance as a $1,000 check was presented to the high school in a show of community support.
“At our Grand Opening Brand Bash Celebrations, we’re inviting area communities to join city representatives at the ribbon cuttings where we will recognize and support local high schools,” said Michael Glazer, President and CEO of Stage Stores. “We are proud to be part of the West Virginia communities, helping to sustain jobs, quality of life and economic growth. Just as exciting is our strategy in bringing the Gordmans shopping experience to almost all of our department store locations across the country during 2020 and positively impacting even more cities.”
Gordmans will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
