White Sulphur Springs-Glenna Louise Trainer, 86, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.
Born on Mar. 13, 1929, in Hematite, VA, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Hattie Jane Wade Fertig. She is the last surviving member of her family.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph Trainer.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of caring friends.
Her funeral service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the Chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home where Rev. Garrett Bostic officiated. Burial followed in May Chapel Cemetery in Neola. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
