White Sulphur Springs-Gladys Marie Webb, 70, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Born Jan. 9, 1944, in Lester, WV, she was a daughter of the late Kyle and Oneida Joyce Cochran.
Mrs. Webb was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs. She was a 1962 graduate of White Sulphur High School and during her working years, she worked at the former Burlington and Hanover Shoe Factories in White Sulphur Springs and was a custodian at the church for ten years. Mrs. Webb loved arts and crafts and loved to be with her family.
Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were brother, Dillard Cochran and sister, Phyllis Judy.
Survivors include: her husband, Billy Webb at home; daughter, Carrie Webb of Neola; four sons, Clifford Webb (Amanda) of Neola, Curtis Webb (Tessa) of White Sulphur Springs, John Webb (Jennifer) of Spring, TX, and Michael Webb (Wanda) of Neola; three brothers, Carl, Denny and Don all of Neola; and sister, Brenda Thompson of White Sulphur Springs.
Services were held Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where Bishop Jeremy Troyer officiated.
Burial was in Mapledale Cemetery, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs. Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
Visitation was Wednesday evening, Nov. 12, at Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs.
