Christian Mark Giggenbach has announced his intention to be placed on the May 13 ballot as a Democratic candidate for the Greenbrier County Commission from the Eastern District.
Giggenbach, 48, is the son of the late Fred and Kay Giggenbach and is a native of Greenbrier County who graduated from Greenbrier East High School in 1983. Giggenbach attended West Virginia University and studied Political Science and Psychology. For the last 12 years, Giggenbach has been a newspaper reporter who covered local area news and events.
Giggenbach believes his background and dogged work ethic, and his ability to build professional relationships built on trust and honesty, will be a positive influence on the Greenbrier County Commission.
“I will work harder than anyone you have ever seen to bring a positive message back to our county commission,” Giggenbach said. “I am asking for your vote on May 13.”
