This Saturday kids can create a gift for mom by decorating a pot and planting it with their choice of spring flowers at the Lewisburg Farmers Market (LFM).
While kids are participating in this free activity, moms can shop for locally made soaps, teas and body care products at Sensorium Herbals, enjoy a foot or chair massage from Lynn Benedict of Trinity Bodyworks and Healing, shop for crafts, and pick up a homemade pie or baked goods from several vendors.
The Lewisburg Farmers Market is open Saturdays from April – October in the parking lot of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church next to the Post Office. Vendors have bagels, bread, baked goods, greens, vegetables, herbs, pork, poultry, lamb, beef, eggs, chair massage, one-of-a-kind, crafts, and kid’s activities, and if you are lucky, live music with some jammin’ string musicians. LFM accepts SNAP, EBT, senior coupons, and credit cards. The members of the Lewisburg Farmers Market believe a single farmers market location would benefit customers, vendors, and the community. We are willing to do our part, and have been working to create that outcome for several years.
