Genevieve Holmes
White Sulphur Springs-The Holmes family regrets the passing of their dear mother Genevieve Holmes, the wife of the late Charles Holmes IV, of White Sulphur Springs, on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015.
Genevieve Holmes received loving care while residing in California.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Smith of White Sulphur Springs, Jennifer Holmes of Lake Forest, CA and Charles Delbert Holmes V of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, Fiana Metcalf, Jenaya Johnson, Charles Dale Holmes and Mariah Holmes; and two great-grandchildren, Willie Metcalf and Franklin Metcalf.
Genevieve was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She committed much of her time in caring for others through her volunteer work with St. James United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and White Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Club.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 52 Church Street, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986.
