Jan. 30, 2015, is the deadline to apply for assistance if you suffered qualifying disaster related livestock or grazing losses between Oct. 1, 2011 and December 31, 2014.
The Livestock Indemnity Program and the Livestock Forage Program were reauthorized by the 2014 Farm Bill to provide relief to ranchers impacted by drought, blizzards and other natural disasters. You have just a few more days – until the Jan. 30 deadline – to visit your local Farm Service Agency office to file an application for payment/compensation.
