Foxfire Realty’s webcam overlooking the Lewisburg downtown historic district is live.
The state-of-the-art webcam, CamFoxfire, is broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week, said Foxfire broker Richard Grist. The webcam will focus on the Greenspace and intersection of Washington Street and Jefferson Street (Route 60 and Route 219).
Foxfire Realty plans to redirect its webcam for longer street views during special events like the Chocolate Festival, TOOT, car shows and the city’s parades.
“If it is happening on Washington Street, CamFoxfire will cover it,” Grist said.
“We are making the webcam’s live feed available to the city of Lewisburg, the police and fire departments and all other nonprofits in the county who might like to link to the site,” said Grist. “There are a many people who have ties here who would enjoy logging on to see what is happening in historic downtown Lewisburg.”
Spencer Adkins, chief meteorologist with Fox59 News is excited about CamFoxfire.
“CamFoxfire will allow us to have eyes on the Coolest Small Town in America, whether it’s snowing or 90 degrees,” said Adkins.
“The greatest asset of TV is being able to show you what’s going on. This is a new and wonderful window to showcase what’s happening live in historic downtown Lewisburg. We appreciate Foxfire Realty sharing their view with us.”
