The Lewisburg United Methodist Church (LUMC) has constructed the flowering cross for several years as one of the symbols of Easter. The flowering of the cross represents the transition from Good Friday to Easter and from meditation on Jesus’ death to joyful celebration of His resurrection.
Lewisburg United Methodist Church would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Kroger for providing all the flowers for the cross.
The church hopes the public will enjoy the flowering cross and remember it as an emblem of Jesus’ resurrection and His continuing presence.
