West Virginia Ribfest in Charleston

The 23rd annual Ribfest consists of live music, six national rib vendors, a kids zone with amusements rides, and a beer garden for patrons 21 years of age or older.

Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival at Jefferson County

Enjoy a weekend filled with art from approximately 180 artisans and craft persons, live bluegrass music, and wine from the local vineyards. Advance tickets are $8.50 (under 13 free). Tickets purchased at the gate are $10. Ticket prices include parking, music entertainment, children’s craft workshops and wine tasting for patrons 21 years of age and older. Apple Butter Festival in Berkley Springs
Oct. 7-8, Free
The 48th annual Apple Butter Festival will consist of over 150 vendors, live entertainment and contests, the Apple Butter Parade, and a Beer Garden. You can enjoy all this and more while the smell of cooking Apple Butter fills the streets.
Balloons Over Morgantown
Oct. 12-15, Free
A hot air balloon event where 12-18 balloons come to fly over the West Virginia hills. Event consists of a NightGlow light up night and five balloon flights over the weekend (weather permitting).
