The Lewisburg Farmers Market’s Winter Indoor Market continues on Saturday, Mar. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gus R. Douglass Annex Building (beside of the WV Building) at the state fairgrounds.
The indoor market offers all of the wonderful locally grown and produced items that our customers have come to love and expect. These items include chicken, pork, lamb, winter greens, free range eggs, herbs, pies, breads, bagels, baked goods, garlic, jams, jellies, syrups, crafts, wildlife photography, and much more. You can even come and get a massage.
The LFM Cafe will also be open this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Gus Douglass building. This week’s menu is a local creamy potato and kale soup served with an organic roll, and the special is a kale, cheese and herb bake with a choice of a local organic side; the sandwich is a combination pork and beef sloppy joe sandwich with a choice of an organic local side.
Did you know that the LFM Indoor Market also has weekly entertainment? From 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. come out and listen to Robert Wilson skillfully play his clarinet. Then, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., tap your toes to the sounds of the Appalachian String Band! Fun for the whole family!
LFM accepts SNAP, EBT, and credit cards. See the market manager for more information.
