Thirty-nine paintings have been on exhibit at the Eastern Greenbrier County Senior Center in Fairlea for the past year by Phyllis B. Crickenberger. Each month three new paintings are on exhibit. Phyllis is a Life Member of West Virginia Watercolor Society and is a Signature watercolor artist. She is a retired teacher in Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties and Prince Georges County, MD. She designed the West Virginia Garden Club State Seal. She is Juried into Tamarack, and a member of Greenbrier Artists. Her artwork is on sale at Patina on Washington Street in Lewisburg. She is the mother of Katie Ickes, Sara, Joe and Tom Crickenberger and the grandmother of Caroline, Andrew, Annie, Mary Claire and David Ickes and Sarah Beth, Samuel, Naomi, Jacob and Grace Crickenberger.

The Center offers exercise equipment for use by seniors. Thursdays Fritz Pharmacy offers blood pressure and blood sugar checks. The Greenbrier Valley Medical Center’s “ Senior Circle” and Fritz Pharmacy offer blood pressure and blood sugar checks the first Wednesday of each month. Bingo is offered Tuesdays and Fridays after lunch and Hand and Foot card game is also offered.
