Greenbrier County Commissioner Steve Malcomb (left), current Commission President Woody Hanna, Lewisburg Mayor John Manchester, Enterprise employees Shannon Jones and Sydney Bryant, Enterprise local Manager Nicole Sheaves and Area Manager Harley Taylor (cutting the ribbon), Enterprise employees Ed Tyree and Holly McGuire (and an unidentified man), Debbie Yates with Radio Greenbrier and Ashley Vickers, executive director of Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car outlet on North Jefferson in Lewisburg held their official grand opening event on Tuesday, Apr. 3, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments and a spin-the-wheel prize give-away provided by Radio Greenbrier.

Chamber of Commerce Director Ashley Vickers, Mayor John Manchester and County Commission President Woody Hanna were all on tap at the opening, with Area Manager Harley Taylor, Scott Six, business rental sales executive and Nicole Sheaves, site manager for both the Jefferson Street and the airport Enterprise car rental locations.

“We are committed to the area and building the local economy with this investment to stay in Greenbrier County,” said Taylor. Six doubled up on that point by adding, “Enterprise is a local company supported by local people.”

Commissioner Hanna said Enterprise has two locations; the Jefferson Street outlet and a rental counter at the Greenbrier Valley Airport (OVA), generating six jobs in the area.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car offers more than car rentals, said Taylor. It also has trucks, cargo vans and 15 passenger vehicles, and SUVs for business uses or vehicle replacements. All vehicles are kept in tip top appearances with their on-site car wash facilities. Visit enterprise.com for reservations or call the Lewisburg office at 1-304-520-3115, or at the airport, call 1-304-645-6044. Their hours at the 3410 N. Jefferson Street site are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The airport counter hours are Monday-Friday, noon-7 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon. The counter is closed on Sundays.
