The Emmaus Road Quartet, a gospel singing group from Tunnel Hill, GA, will present a sacred concert this Saturday, Mar. 5, at 6:30 p.m., at the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene in Fairlea.
Since the group’s establishment in October 2003, the group has had the opportunity of traveling and sharing their ministry across the United States. Most recently, Emmaus Road made their “Main Stage” debut at the National Quartet Convention in 2013. Also, they have seen the recent charting success of their singles, which includes “Jesus Is the Rock,” which climbed to number 27 on the Christian Voice.
“When He Calls My Name” reached number 78 in The Singing News and The Christian Voice Top 80 and also “Mercy, Grace, and Love,” which was a top 80 hit on The Christian Voice Charts. “Get On Board” debuted at number 69 on The Singing News Top 80. Their most recent charting song is “Blow Ye the Trumpet,” which ranks at number 68 on The Singing News Top 80 for June 2013.
The group is comprised of Greg Witt, Robbie Moore, Colby Goforth and Chris Anderson. An offering will be taken for the group’s expenses during the concert.
