Eastern Greenbrier Middle School Golf Team has two team matches

The Eastern Greenbrier Middle School Golf Team played a team match at the Valley View Golf Course in White Sulphur Springs, par 36, for 9 holes on Apr. 14. EGMS had 24 players, Summers County had four and Western Greenbrier had four.
Four-player teams played a scramble. Team scores were as follows: (1) Tyler Boggs, Hunter Vaughan, Evan McClure and William Dalton (Western) – 40; (2) Norris Beard, Landon Hayes, Trey Ewing and Justin Brown (Western) – 42; (3) Colby Hughes, Zach Patton, Ryan Meadows and Ashton Basham (Summers) – 42; (4) Berkely Adwell, Kyle Morgan, Keegan Fitzgerald and Dakota Parker (Western) – 43; (5) Steel Hall, Aaron Griffith, Jake McGilvray and Ethan O’Dell (Western) – 44; (6) Hayden Yates, Ian Morrison, Bryce McCallister and Abby Bennett (Summers) – 44; (7) Kyle Ballard, Jed White, Evan Vaughan and Bryson Keaton (Summers) – 45; (8) Bailee Coles, Landon Hoover, Andrew McLaughlin and Logan Fox (Summers) – 45.
The Eastern Greenbrier Middle School Golf Team had all 29 of their players (26 boys and three girls) playing in a team match at the Lewisburg Elk’s Course on Apr. 19. Summers County also had four players on the same team. There were seven four-player teams and one team having five players.
A Captain’s Choice was played on the front 9 par 34. The team who had the lowest total was Tyler Boggs, Hunter Vaughan, Jed White and Suzanne Bicksler, who had even par 34 for 9 holes. Two teams had 36. They were Berkley Adwell, Hayden Yates, Landon Hoover and Catalina Ziegler, and the second team was Noah Hancock, Steele Hall, Trey Ewing, Kyle Ballard and Keegan Fitzgerald. Two teams had 37. They were Bailee Coles, Landon Hayes, Zach Patton and Ian Morrison, and the second team was Norris Beard, Andrew McLaughlin, Evan Vaughan and Ryan Meadows.
The Summers County team had a 38. Team members were Logan Fox, Ashton Basham, Taylor Isaac and Gavin Pivont. On their first hole #1, par 3, Taylor Isaac, Summers County, holed a 30 yard shot for a birdie 2. Two teams finished with a 43. They were Justin Hylton, Kyle Morgan, Aaron Griffith and Jake McGilvray, and the other team was Colby Hughes, Bryce McCallister, Callie McFerrin and Evan McClure.
