Dream Weaver Activity Center at 57 Main Street in White Sulphur Springs has announced its October activities. Each Thursday evening from 8-10 p.m., come by Dream Weaver and enjoy music by local performers Andy Burke and Scott Hall, as well as Jason Lewis and his group, free of charge. The arcade will be open, and snacks will be available for purchase.
Every Thursday in October, Pizza Hut in Rainelle will support Dream Weaver by donating a percentage of each meal to the worthy cause of providing fun and learning activities.
On Oct. 20, The Mason Jar in White Sulphur Springs will provide a spaghetti dinner to support Dream Weaver.
Throughout the month of October, look for “Cousin Itt” on the sidewalk outside Dream Weaver. Come in and register your guess of who is hiding under Cousin Itt. Winners will receive a free evening of arcade games. (Winner only, snacks not included). You may also vote for your favorite of all the scarecrow creations displayed in White Sulphur Springs during October.
Dream Weaver is a nonprofit organization which offers activities for special needs individuals during the day, and is open to the public from 5-10 p.m. each evening. This is a family oriented business with no alcoholic beverages or smoking allowed.
