The deadline to file for Greenbrier County elected positions is Monday, Jan. 11. So far, those officials expected to file for re-election are County Commission President Mike McClung, County Clerk Robin Loudermilk, Sheriff Jan Cahill, Assessor Michael Burke, Prosecutor Patrick Via, Circuit Clerk Louvonne Arbuckle, Circuit Court Judge Robert Richardson, and Magistrate Judges Doug Beard, Brenda Smith and James Childers. The primary election will be held in May.
