Davis Stuart was the recipient of the 2018 Greenbrier Valley Women’s Fund grant awarded by the Greenbrier Valley Community Foundation.

The grand award of $1,000 will provide financial assistance with expenses related to recreation and holiday activities for Davis Stuart’s female-based Alicia McCormick House, located in Maxwelton. Such activities include educational trips, birthday celebrations and making the residents feel at home during the Christmas holiday.

Davis Stuart which serves all of West Virginia, operates as a private, nonprofit organization with the main campus located in Lewisburg and three community-based group homes in Bluefield, Maxwelton and Princeton.
