David Kent Loudermilk, 68, of Frankford, WV, passed away at his home on Jan. 11, 2026.

He was born on Mar. 24, 1957, in Ronceverte, to Donald Kent Loudermilk and Nancy Ellen Simmons Loudermilk. David worked as a painter and carpenter. He was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt and the WVU Mountaineers.

David was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Rebecca Loudermilk, sisters Jennifer Conkey, Theresa Lavalley, Melissa Ann Burns, and brother Donnie Loudermilk.

He is survived by his brother Shawn Loudermilk, uncle Gene Simmons (Linda), special great nephew Noah Neal, several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

David will be remembered and missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Garland Simmons, Kevin Simmons and Stacy Jordan for their help in his last days so he could remain in his home.
