The 8th Annual DARE to CRUZ Car Show was held Saturday, Sept. 12 in downtown Lewisburg. The show saw 108 participants and raised $2610. These funds were from registrations, donations, T-shirt and hat sales and a raffle and 50/50 drawing held by Ron Snedegar of Matco Tools. The Police Department would like to thank all who participated, made a donation and made the show a success. We would also like to thank the following individuals for assisting with the operation of the show; Jim and Lori Williams, Greg and Lori Quick, Bill and Linda Fertig, Tina Stover, Kelly Gwinn, Amber Hunter, Bennie Shortridge, Ivan Holliday, Ben Massie, Steve Sizemore, Jr. Sizemore and Luther Hollingsworth.
