A Covington man died Wednesday in an I-64 vehicle wreck.
According to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, Richard Lodge, 56, of Covington, VA, died after he lost control of his pickup truck in the east bound lane of I-64 near Harts Run.
Sheriff Jan Cahill said Lodge was traveling eastbound in a Ford truck, which was hauling a trailer, when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed the median, overturning several times. Lodge was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Lodge was the only passenger in the truck, and no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
