The Greenbrier Valley Airport has made a change to their flight times to Dulles Airport in Washington, DC. The old schedule had commercial flights to Dulles at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. According to airport manager Stephen Snyder, customers often complained that the 7 p.m. departure was not practical.
“If you’re a business person, you don’t want to arrive in the evening …[You] want to get out of here early in the morning. You want to get to destinations especially if it’s the West Coast. If you’re an international passenger and you can be in Dulles at 11 a.m. for an international flight going to Europe, you can be sitting down to dinner when everyone else is,” Snyder said.
The airport has since rearranged the schedules to more efficiently accommodate commercial passengers needs. Flights to Dulles are now scheduled for 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
