Lindside-Connie Lee McMillion, 75, formerly of Fairlea, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023 at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem, VA.
Connie was born Apr. 15, 1948 in Michigan City, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Streeting Means.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by infant son, Matthew McMillion; great-grandson, Jonathan Hunter McMillion; sister, Joyce; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alice and Virgil McCutcheon, Kathleen McMillion, Laura Smothers, Lawrence McMillion, Quinn Young and Dave Stam.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Becky Defibaugh (Dale) of Sinks Grove and Harold McMillion, Jr. (Kelsey) of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Justin Defibaugh (Cora), Kim Defibaugh, Chelsea Defibaugh (Eric Meadows), Jonathan McMillion (Michelle), Steven Defibaugh, Sandy Defibaugh (TJ Butler), Jackson McMillion and Hunter Remington McMillion; great-grandchildren, Adrian Renee, Lukas James, Lehland Wayne, Keena Moxley, Olivia, Nathan Matthew, Mackenzie Nicole and Oakland due in Febrauary 2024; father of her children, Harold Dean McMillion, Sr.; sisters, Bonnie Olinger and Shirley both of Indiana; brother, Jerry Means; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grace and Jim Flowers, Mikel Bright McMillion, James McMillion, Doris Young, Edith Stam, Shelby McMillion; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Connie will be Saturday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte with Pastor Everett Defibaugh. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Ronceverte.
The family will receive family and friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, at the funeral home.
