The Greenbrier West Alumni Association Inc., in conjunction with Together Jobs, announces the first annual Coal Heritage Pride Festival.
Set for Saturday, May 7, this is a ramp and pulled pork festival to celebrate our common heritage. Bring your mom for Mother’s Day a day early and come down to the Meadow River road side park between Rainelle and Charmco on Rt. 60.
The cost is $15 for adults and $6 for children. You can schedule your time to eat or you can just drop in from 12 noon – 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join in the food and fun. Go to www.greenbrierwestalumni.org or to www.togetherjobs.com to register early. On the menu: ramps, brown beans, pulled pork, hot dogs and all the fixings. The proceeds will be used by the Greenbrier West Alumni Association to pay for scholarships for graduating Cavaliers.
