“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give” Matthew 10:8. These were some of Jesus’ most important words to His followers, and these are the very words that have moved a group of believers to action here in Greenbrier County.
Everyone is invited this Sunday, June 11, come to shelter No. 2 in the Greenbrier State Forest, Harts Run at 10 a.m. This is a gathering for any who are willing, searching, hungry, or hurting. Whether you need healing in your body, soundness restored to your mind or heart, or just want to connect with local believers outside of a traditional church setting, you are welcome.
One of the group’s formative leaders, Andrew Poage, states, “Join us for a time of refreshing and restoration in the presence of the Lord of all the Earth! If you are feeling weary and frustrated with the lack of peace in any area of life, then this is your place to get a refreshing.”
Another leader, Micheal Waid, explains why something new and different could be just what is needed: “If we want to see God move in ways that we have never seen Him move before we have to start moving in ways that we have never moved before. Greater is He that’s in us than he that is in the world. Trust and believe and let the river flow.”
Sunday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at Shelter No. 2 in the Greenbrier State Forest at Hart’s Run could just mark a turning point for you, too.
Anyone and everyone is invited and welcome. Jesus is truly sending His Church outside the walls and into the streets, valleys, and mountains to proclaim deliverance to the captives and set His people free.
