will host a special guest speaker Sunday, Nov. 9. Tammy Jordan, president of Fruits of Labor Ministries will be the speaker for the 10:30 a.m. service. She will share information about the “Seeds of Recovery” program for recovering addicts. Pastor Ray Propps invites everyone to come out and learn about this wonderful ministry. Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church
will host a memorial service Sunday, Nov. 9, with placing of flags on veterans’ graves, lighting of luminaries around the graveyard at 5 p.m., and taps at 6 p.m. An indoor service shall follow immediately. All are welcome. Those who have loved ones buried in Bethel Cemetery are given a special invitation to attend and take part in the lighting ceremony and indoor service. The church is located on Hokes Mill Road, Organ Cave.
Mount Hermon United Methodist Church
The Renick Stickers 4-H Club and the Renick Satellite Club of the Committee on Aging will honor all local Veterans with a covered dish luncheon at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Mount Hermon United Methodist Church in Renick. Members of the Renick Stickers 4-H Club will be serving food and providing entertainment for the luncheon. If you are not a local Veteran, but you would like to contribute or join us, please bring a covered dish and join us for a great afternoon.
