Ronceverte Baptist Church VBS
Ronceverte Baptist Church invites children to Monumental VBS: Celebrating God’s Greatness!
A summer kids’ event called Monumental VBS will be happening at Ronceverte Baptist Church beginning July 11. At Monumental, kids explore the sun baked Southwestern desert as they dig into God’s great love! Kids participate in memorable Bible learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy snacks, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love. Each day concludes at 8:45 p.m. with a Canyon Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned that day. Family members and friends are encouraged to join this special time. Dinner will be served each evening starting at 5:45 p.m. All the kids and their parents are invited to join us for a wonderful meal before VBS begins. VBS will be Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. There will be classes for preschool through middle school and for adults. Come join us and bring a friend. Ronceverte Baptist Church is located at 437 W. Main Street. For more information or if you have any questions please call 304-647-4067.

Annual Ketron Church and Community Homecoming 1902-2022
Date: Sunday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m.
Please join us once again to celebrate the legacy of Ketron Church, worship, and reunite with old friends. We hope that everyone has been safe from the COVID-19 virus this past year and that you are vaccinated and boosted. Masks will be available. The church is located on Rockland Road, 3 miles below Ronceverte. The speaker this year will be Al Morgan of Princeton. Following the worship service we will gather at the Frank Whanger Picnic Shelter for a pot-luck lunch and a brief business meeting. Everyone is invited to attend. Paper products and utensils will be provided. Please notify Karen West of any persons you would like added to the memorial list. Because the Homecoming was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19 and attendance at the reunion has been sparse, very few contributions have been received. Your donations for the upkeep of the church and mowing the cemetery are becoming more critical every year. If you have loved ones buried in the Ketron cemetery and cannot attend, please consider mailing a generous donation to Ketron Church in care of the Ketron treasurer at the address listed below. We look forward to seeing you! Stay safe! Treasurer, Karen West, P.O. Box 251, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
